The liquefaction: It is a process that  transforms the gas in liquid . This process takes place when the temperature and pressure are subjected to a very high pressure. Every gas has a point at which the temperature produces boiling and below this is the liquid state; in many cases the boiling will depend on the pressure of the atmosphere.

Liquefaction brought several changes in industrial processes. But it has not only allowed the production of gases such as hydrogen , argon, nitrogen or neon, it has also been of great help in the analysis of the most important properties of gas molecules .

  2. The liquefied chlorine which is used in the purification of the water.
  3. Liquid nitrogen which is used in medicine, in dermatology to be more exact.

  5. Liquefied petroleum gas is one of the best known and is used in cooling and ventilation systems.

  • Direct coal liquefaction: it is a chemical process that converts coal into a mixture of liquid hydrocarbons.
