SEO is a set of techniques and strategies that have the purpose of getting a web page to appear in the first results of search engines for certain searches. Improving your ranking and therefore increasing the number of visits to that website.
Search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo have primary results, where web pages and other content such as images, videos, or site listings are displayed. Search engines classify and display the results they consider most relevant to users.

The abuse of SEO techniques can be considered, in some cases, as a form of SPAM or spamdexing.
